Terms & Conditions
The agreement between Home Interior Lane and our clients.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and any home-related services requested through it. By accessing the website or engaging our services, you agree to follow these terms and applicable laws.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, submitting an inquiry, requesting an estimate, or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and applicable requirements.
2. Website Usage
The website is provided for lawful purposes, including learning about services, submitting inquiries, requesting estimates, and scheduling consultations. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access.
3. Service Eligibility
Services are provided subject to availability, service area, property conditions, project requirements, and applicable regulations. We reserve the right to determine whether a requested service can reasonably be provided based on these factors.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when requesting services or submitting forms. You are responsible for providing reasonable property access, identifying known hazards, and communicating relevant restrictions before scheduled work begins.
5. Service Estimates
Estimates are based on information available when prepared and may change if site conditions, measurements, materials, labor requirements, or project specifications differ from the original information provided during the consultation.
6. Pricing and Payments
Prices, payment schedules, deposits, and applicable charges will be described in the relevant proposal or service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, required payments must be made according to the stated schedule.
7. Additional Work
Additional work outside the originally agreed scope may require separate approval and additional charges. We will communicate significant changes in scope, pricing, materials, or labor requirements before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.
8. Scheduling
Appointments and project schedules are arranged in good faith and may change because of weather, material availability, permits, property conditions, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. Schedule changes will be communicated when practical.
9. Property Access
You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to areas where services are scheduled. Delays or additional costs caused by unavailable access, locked areas, unsafe conditions, or undisclosed restrictions may affect project timing.
10. Site Conditions
Existing property conditions may affect the scope, cost, duration, or outcome of services. Hidden damage, structural issues, moisture, electrical problems, hazardous materials, or other concealed conditions may require additional assessment or corrective work.
11. Materials and Products
Materials and products may be selected according to availability, suitability, project requirements, and approved specifications. Equivalent alternatives may occasionally be recommended when originally selected products become unavailable, discontinued, delayed, or impractical.
12. Changes and Cancellations
Requests to modify or cancel scheduled services should be submitted as early as reasonably possible. Depending on timing, materials purchased, preparation completed, or labor reserved, cancellation or change fees may apply.
13. Client-Provided Materials
If you provide materials, fixtures, equipment, or other products for installation, you are responsible for their suitability, compatibility, condition, and availability. Delays or defects involving client-provided items may affect scheduling and service outcomes.
14. Workmanship
Services will be performed with reasonable care and skill consistent with applicable standards and the agreed scope. Any specific workmanship warranty, guarantee, or remedy will be governed by the applicable service agreement or written documentation.
15. Manufacturer Warranties
Products supplied for a project may be covered by separate manufacturer warranties. Such warranties are controlled by the manufacturer's terms and conditions, and any available claims may require compliance with the manufacturer's procedures.
16. Warranty Limitations
Unless expressly provided in writing, no additional warranties are made regarding specific results, uninterrupted service, or suitability for purposes outside the agreed scope. Warranty rights may be limited by applicable law and service conditions.
17. Customer Property
You should secure valuable, fragile, personal, or sensitive belongings before service begins. Reasonable care will be taken around property, but responsibility may be limited where damage results from pre-existing conditions, improper storage, or undisclosed hazards.
18. Safety Requirements
We may postpone, modify, or refuse work where conditions present unreasonable safety risks to workers, occupants, visitors, or property. Services may resume after identified hazards are properly addressed and safe working conditions are available.
19. Photos and Documentation
Project photographs or documentation may be created when reasonably necessary to evaluate conditions, document completed work, support estimates, or maintain service records. Personal or sensitive information visible in such materials should be minimized where practical.
20. Third-Party Services
Certain projects may involve independent contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, technicians, or other third parties. Their services may be subject to separate terms, warranties, availability, and requirements beyond the direct control of this website.
21. Website Content
Website content is provided for general informational purposes and may include descriptions, photographs, examples, measurements, pricing information, or service details that can change. We do not guarantee that every website detail remains current.
22. Intellectual Property
Website text, graphics, photographs, logos, layouts, designs, and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, or commercially use protected content without appropriate authorization.
23. Prohibited Activities
You must not use the website to submit false information, distribute malicious software, interfere with website operations, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another person, collect information improperly, or engage in activities that violate applicable laws.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from website use or services may be limited. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
25. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or inability to perform caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, emergencies, supply disruptions, utility failures, government actions, or other unforeseen events.
26. Suspension or Termination
Access to the website or services may be suspended or terminated where necessary because of misuse, fraudulent activity, unsafe conduct, nonpayment, violation of these terms, or circumstances that create unreasonable operational or safety concerns.
27. Dispute Resolution
We encourage users to address service concerns promptly and attempt reasonable resolution before pursuing formal proceedings. Where required, disputes may be subject to applicable contractual procedures, mediation, arbitration, or court requirements.
28. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are intended to be interpreted according to applicable laws governing the services and relationship between the parties. Mandatory consumer protections and other legally required rights remain unaffected by these terms.
29. Changes to Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically to reflect changes in services, business practices, technology, or legal requirements. Updated terms will be published on the website and become effective as permitted by applicable law.
30. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the extent necessary while the remaining provisions continue in effect.
